A 4WD pickup for visitors heading to the mountains and lakes — delivered to you in the Spokane area. Every truck has a locking bed cover for luggage and gear, plus winter traction when the passes turn.
Who these are for
Travelers coming in for a ski week at Schweitzer or Silver Mountain, a hiking trip into the Selkirks, or a few nights camping around the North Idaho lakes. A crew cab seats your group up front while skis, boards, packs and coolers ride behind the bed cover, out of sight and out of the weather.
Bed cover and gear space
Every pickup in our fleet has a bed cover, so the bed works as a big secure trunk rather than an open box. That's more usable luggage room than most SUVs. One important note: the covers are water resistant, not waterproof — they keep snow and rain off in normal weather, but in a sustained downpour some moisture can get through, so put anything that must stay dry in a dry bag or in the cab. Bring straps if you're carrying anything tall or loose.
Winter capability
Our trucks are 4WD on 3-peak mountain snowflake tires and meet Washington's traction requirements when they're posted. A light rear end is the one truck-specific quirk on ice — with the bed loaded with gear it settles down considerably. Leave extra stopping distance on the passes.
On-road use only
Pickups are for maintained roads: highways, resort access, plowed forest service roads and trailhead parking. Off-road driving and towing are not permitted under our rental terms.
Common Questions
Will skis and camping gear fit?
Easily. The covered bed swallows skis, boards, packs, coolers and duffels for a full crew cab of people, with the cab left free for passengers.
Is the bed cover waterproof?
It's water resistant, not waterproof. It secures your gear and keeps out normal rain and snow, but heavy or prolonged rain can let some moisture in — keep electronics and anything that must stay dry in the cab.
Can I tow a trailer?
No — towing is not permitted with any of our vehicles.
Can I take it off-road?
No. Our trucks are on-road use only; maintained roads and trailhead parking are fine, trails and unmaintained two-track are not.
