Picking the right size
Seven-seat SUVs like the Yukon XL Denali, Traverse and Suburban RST cover most families and ski groups. The 8-passenger Suburban LT adds a full third-row bench when you're one seat short. For anything larger — a wedding party, a reunion, a team — the 10-passenger AWD Ford Transit is the only vehicle in the region that carries that many people on winter tires with all-wheel drive.
Seats vs. cargo — the real tradeoff
With every row up, a three-row SUV leaves roughly a couple of carry-ons' worth of space behind the back seat. Folding one third-row seat gives you a full row of seating plus real cargo depth, which is usually the right setup for five or six adults with luggage. The full-size rigs — the Yukon XL Denali, both Suburbans and the Transit van — are the ones that genuinely carry a full load of people and their bags at the same time, since the extended wheelbase leaves real cargo depth behind the third row. Skiing? Add a Yakima ski rack as an extra at checkout — skis and boards ride on the roof and the whole cargo area stays free for luggage.
Winter capability
All of our group vehicles are AWD or 4WD and run winter-rated tires, so they satisfy Washington's traction tire requirement when it's posted. Longer, heavier vehicles are stable on plowed highway but take more room to stop — leave extra following distance on the passes. Our vehicles are for on-road use only; off-road driving and towing are not permitted.
Booking notes
Group vehicles are the first thing to sell out on holiday weekends and during ski season, and we only have one 10-passenger van. Reservations need at least 24 hours' notice, but that's the bare minimum, not the plan — if you want an actual choice of vehicle for a ski week or a holiday, book months ahead. Peak winter dates and the 10-passenger van are often spoken for well before the season starts.

What's the largest vehicle you have?

Can they fit car seats?
Yes — our group vehicles have LATCH anchors in the second row, and most in the third row as well. Better yet, don't fly with yours: add a child safety seat as an extra at checkout and we'll have it in the vehicle when we deliver it.
Will ten people plus luggage actually fit in the van?
More than you'd think. Every seat row in the Transit has at least about ten inches of clearance underneath, so smaller carry-ons and duffels slide under the seats and free up the space behind the last row for the bigger bags. Ten people with soft bags and packs is comfortable; ten people with ten full-size checked suitcases is where a second vehicle becomes the honest answer.
